Rep. James Faleke has described President Bola Tinubu as Nigeria’s strongest option for lasting stability and meaningful reforms.
Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja, Faleke, who represents Ikeja Federal Constituency, said Tinubu’s leadership has already shown signs of turning the country in the right direction. He stressed that the president’s policies, though tough, are designed to secure Nigeria’s long-term progress.
“Tinubu is not just leading; he’s fixing decades of damage,” Faleke stated. “We are seeing efforts in power, infrastructure, and economy. These moves will create a solid foundation for future growth.”
He said many of the president’s policies—especially on fuel subsidy removal and unifying the exchange rate—have sparked discomfort but were necessary to rescue the economy.
According to him, “The reforms may be painful now, but they are necessary. Nigeria cannot continue on the old path.”
Faleke also urged Nigerians to be patient and give the government more time to deliver results. He called on critics to focus on offering solutions, not just complaints.
He added that Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda will yield results if all stakeholders support the administration’s goals.
Faleke, a close political ally of the president, assured that the National Assembly would continue to support executive policies that benefit the people.
He further noted that Nigeria’s economic challenges were inherited, not created by the Tinubu administration. “This government is working to clean up a mess it did not cause,” he said.
He appealed to Nigerians to remain hopeful and united in rebuilding the nation.
