Founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, Dr. Chris Okafor, has announced a one-month break from public ministry. He said the period would be used for personal prayer, rest, and bonding with his new wife.
The announcement came shortly after his private wedding, which drew attention across social media. In a video shared on the church’s official platform, Okafor thanked his followers for their prayers and support. He explained that the break would help him recharge spiritually and physically after a demanding season of ministry.
“I need time to reflect, pray, and also build with my wife,” he said. “This is a season of retreat and realignment.”
Church leaders said regular services would continue under the guidance of senior pastors. They assured members that all scheduled programmes, including deliverance services and special teachings, would proceed without disruption.
Dr. Okafor, known for his prophetic ministry and large following, recently revealed plans to expand his outreach in 2026. He said the break would also serve as a time to seek divine direction for upcoming assignments.
Reactions from members have been mostly positive, with many congratulating him on the new marriage and supporting the break. Some described it as a wise step toward balance in both personal and spiritual life.
The cleric is expected to return to the pulpit in early February. His media team promised regular updates and urged members to remain prayerful during his time away.
