Nigerian President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday after attending a summit in Abu Dhabi and spending a private holiday in Paris, officials said.
Tinubu arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport aboard the presidential aircraft, where he was received by senior government officials.
During the Abu Dhabi trip, the president participated in meetings with regional and global leaders, focusing on economic cooperation, investment and development issues, according to a statement from the presidency.
After the summit, Tinubu traveled to Paris for a short private vacation before returning to Nigeria, the statement said.
Since taking office, Tinubu has made several foreign trips aimed at attracting investment and strengthening diplomatic ties, while also drawing criticism from opposition figures over the frequency of his travels amid domestic economic challenges.
