The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said registration for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will begin on Jan. 26.
JAMB announced the date in a statement, urging prospective candidates to complete their registration within the stipulated period to avoid last-minute challenges.
The board said the registration exercise would be conducted at accredited computer-based test centers nationwide, adding that candidates must comply strictly with guidelines issued for the process.
It advised applicants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements and obtain the official UTME registration documents before visiting any center.
JAMB also warned candidates against patronizing unapproved agents, noting that such practices could lead to disqualification or loss of registration fees.
The board said further details on the examination timetable and other arrangements would be communicated in due course.
