The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission says it has declared a foreign national and two other individuals wanted over alleged financial crimes, including obtaining money by false pretence and criminal breach of trust.
The commission announced the development in two separate notices issued Tuesday by its Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.
In the first notice, the EFCC declared Emeka Iheanacho, 48, wanted over allegations of obtaining money by false pretence and criminal conversion of funds.
“The public is hereby notified that Emeka Johnson Iheanacho is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence and criminal conversion of funds,” the statement said.
The EFCC said Iheanacho is from Abia State and listed his last known address as 17 Woodland Rise, Chilmington Green, Ashford, Kent, in the United Kingdom.
The commission urged members of the public with information on his whereabouts to report to any of its offices, contact its hotline or email, or notify the nearest police station or other security agencies.
In a second notice, the EFCC declared Ogadima Dominic Duru, 39, and Khalidur Rahman Mohammad Talukder wanted over alleged offences of obtaining money by false pretence and criminal breach of trust.
“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear below are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged obtaining of money by false pretence and criminal breach of trust,” the commission said.
Duru was listed with a last known address at Igbosere Road, Lagos Island, Lagos State, while Talukder was said to reside at Mayfair Place, London, United Kingdom.
The EFCC reiterated its call for public cooperation in locating the suspects.
