Peter Obi Will End Insecurity, Hardship in Nigeria — Former Minister

Former Minister of State for Health, Fidelix Nwankwo, on Friday declared that the presidential ambition of Peter Obi remains the solution to Nigeria’s growing insecurity, economic hardship and inflation.

Nwankwo made the assertion in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, during the presidential primary election of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He said Nigerians were yearning for purposeful leadership capable of restoring hope, improving security and stabilizing the nation’s economy; hence there is no need postponing the forthcoming general elections.

According to him, the high cost of fuel, rising inflation and increasing hardship across the country have continued to worsen the living conditions of ordinary Nigerians, stressing that only credible leadership can reverse the trend.

“Peter Obi will put a permanent end to insecurities in Nigeria. Obi as President of Nigeria remains the solution to insecurity, inflation, hardship and the high cost of fuel in the country. So there is no need clamouring for postponement of the general elections,” Nwankwo stated.

He further maintained that A vote for Obi in the 2027 general elections would redirect Nigeria towards genuine political independence, economic prosperity and good governance.

Nwankwo urged Nigerians, especially youths and women, to support leaders with competence, accountability and vision in order to rescue the nation from its present challenges.
