The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, represented by Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang Yilwatda, has praised President Bola Tinubu as one of Nigeria’s most strategic and experienced politicians.
Yilwatda made the remark while addressing party members at the APC national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday. He said Tinubu’s political journey reflects wisdom, resilience, and the ability to build strong alliances. According to him, the president’s style of leadership offers valuable lessons for young politicians and party members.
“President Tinubu is one of the best politicians you can learn from. He’s not just a leader but a strategist who understands how to build and sustain political structures,” Yilwatda stated.
He urged party stakeholders to support Tinubu’s reform agenda and remain united behind the president’s vision for a stable and progressive Nigeria. He also highlighted the need for discipline, loyalty, and grassroots mobilisation to strengthen the APC ahead of future elections.
Yilwatda encouraged party leaders across states to follow Tinubu’s example by focusing on inclusive governance and listening to the people.
“We must prioritise the welfare of our citizens and ensure the APC delivers on its promises,” he added.
The event, attended by top party officials and youth leaders, also served as a platform to review internal party strategies and prepare for the 2026 convention. The APC chair reaffirmed the party’s commitment to reforms, development, and national unity under Tinubu’s leadership.
