Tinubu’s Reforms Will Benefit Nigeria’s Future- Abiodun assures Nigerians

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has expressed strong support for President Bola Tinubu’s reform agenda, saying it is laying the foundation for a “new and prosperous Nigeria.” The governor made the remarks while addressing stakeholders and community leaders at a recent event in Abeokuta, highlighting what he described as transformative steps being taken by the federal government.

Abiodun said the reforms in key sectors such as the economy, energy, and governance are beginning to yield positive results, despite initial resistance and short‑term pain felt by citizens. He cited improvements in macroeconomic stability and ongoing efforts to strengthen local industries as examples of policies that are steering the country toward lasting growth.

According to the governor, Tinubu’s approach is focused on building robust systems rather than quick fixes. “These reforms are not just about numbers on a page — they are about reshaping our economic landscape so that future generations can enjoy greater opportunities,” Abiodun said. He added that the emphasis on fiscal discipline, private‑sector engagement, and infrastructure development will help broaden the nation’s revenue base and reduce dependency on imported goods.

Abiodun also commended the president’s push to improve transparency and accountability in public service, noting that a more efficient government machinery will benefit ordinary Nigerians. He urged citizens to remain patient and supportive as the administration deepens its reform efforts.

The governor concluded that while challenges remain, the groundwork being laid by the Tinubu administration is critical to achieving sustainable development and a more resilient Nigeria in the years ahead.
